Read more customer reviews. It was replaced in july 2000 this siding has not held up any better it has faded to a pale white beige and unevenly in areas of the same side. It was the in siding of its time. Nichiha in my opinion nichiha makes a better fiber cement.

The color now looks rust or lime not forest green. It s more expensive but i have hung over 100 lap siding squares and prefer it to hardie read additional nichiha siding reviews. And of course it s collected mud bees every year. James hardie i have done many installs of hardiplank siding and haven t had a problem with the product. These are the bottom pieces and the siding extends away on both adjacent walls. I supposed it was ok but in the directed sun it worn out faster.

I worked on a new home with the nailite rough sawn cedar classic siding. And with the weathering over the years the siding has worn away with exposed holes. Of course i was insulating the place and managed to damage about 5 6 of the external 90 degree corner pieces on one corner of the house. The siding has been on for about 5 years now and i think it looks horrible.
